A growing medium which is typically vermiculite and coco coir (we know what you are thinking and no, it is not an african singing group). Here are the basic steps for Penis Envy cultivation
Step 1. Innoculate sterilized grain with Penis Envy mycelium and wait until fully colonized
Step 2. Pasteurize coco coir and vermiculite in a 5 gallon bucket
Step 3. Line 55 Litre clear plastic tote (link to Sterilite one) with half of a thick black garbage bag
Step 4. Mix inoculated grain with coco coir and vermiculite inside the lined tote
Step 5. Cut away excess plastic lining
Step 6. Leave the tote in a clean, well ventilated space with a temperature around 20.5 and 22 degrees celsius
Step 7. Check tote daily and crack the lid if needed to optimize humidity
Step 8. In ten days you should start to see pining (baby mushrooms)
Step 9. Love your baby mushrooms and in another 10 to 15 days they will be fully grown and extra potent
Step 10. Pick and cook fresh in your favourite risotto or dry them for later use
